The legend of La Llorona “The weeping woman”, a ghostly woman that wanders in the middle of the night, disrupting the silence with her frightening scream may possibly be one of the oldest and most popular legends of Mexico; one that has managed to spread to the rest of Latin America and is known worldwide.
