Para atraer a sus presas, el Ahuizotl era todo un maestro del engaño… El atraía a los humanos (especialmente a los pescadores o marineros) simulando el llanto de un niño desde las orillas de los ríos y lagunas; generando en quienes lo escuchaban, preocupación e interés sumamente difícil de ignorar…
