Arm yourself with courage and let yourself feel the intense heat coming from the fire that claims its sacrifice to give light to the world again, with the new remastered track of ‘Nanahuatzin & Tecuciztecatl - A New Era’ from our album ‘Aztec Myths & Legends: A Narrated Concert by OMEworld’. “Tecuciztecatl was the first one to approach the fire, but stopped when he felt the intense heat. He tried again, but again, he was overcome with fear, and after the fourth attempt, his courage failed him.

It was then, that Nanahuatzin walked towards the fire and without hesitation threw himself in. Tecuciztecatl, ashamed for his cowardice, immediately threw himself in afterwards…”

“Tecuciztecatl fue el primero en acercarse al fuego, pero se detuvo cuando vio las inmensas llamas y sintió el calor abrasador. Volvió a intentarlo de nuevo, pero una vez más retrocedió atemorizado. 4 fueron en total los intentos por arrojarse a las llamas, pero después del cuarto intento su valentía lo abandonó…

Fue entonces cuando Nanahuatzin lleno de valor, sin pensarlo se arrojó a la hoguera, y Tecuciztecatl, avergonzado por su cobardía, inmediatamente, se arrojó también…”
